The Best Family Resorts in Nusa Dua, Bali
Nusa Dua is one of the best destinations in Bali if you are looking for some of the best resorts and all-inclusive hotels in the area. This absolutely breathtaking beachtown is one of my favorite areas in Bali when I’m looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation with the family.
Located on Bali’s southern Bukit peninsula, Nusa Dua is in the middle of the eastern stretch of beautiful beaches. However, if you are still deciding on the exact location for your upcoming trip to Bali and are possibly looking for something closer to an island beach experience, consider the western side of the peninsula. Jimbaran’s beach town is just a short drive from Nusa Dua and has a bit more of a relaxed environment than the resort center of Nusa Dua. If you’re still unsure, take a look at my favorite stays in Jimbaran before you book your next trip.
For those of you ready for your luxury Bali experience, keep reading to see my favorite resorts and all-inclusive hotels in Nusa Dua. This is resort central, so you won’t find many rentals available. Given the multitude of options in Nusa Dua, I have compiled my absolute favorites to make your choice a bit easier!

Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort
A French inspired luxury resort, the Sofitel resort is in the center of the resort area of Nusa Dua and is one of the best resorts in the southern peninsula for families. This resort has one of the best kids clubs in Nusa Dua, which is located directly off of the beach and has been described as a kid’s paradise but also has plenty of activities and amenities for the entire family.
One of the coolest things about this resort is that Sofitel is home to the Bali Nusa Dua Theater, golf course, and shopping mall. You will also have access to their five star fitness center, the world class spa treatments, outdoor pools, and private beach access. You truly will have everything you could desire throughout your stay! Including a wide variety of cuisines through Sofitel’s five star restaurants and bars located throughout the resort.
While you are selecting your accommodations, you will have your choice of over 400 suites as well as over a dozen villas. Regardless of the experience you are looking for, Sofitel will exceed your expectations for you and your family!
The Grand Hyatt Bali at Nusa Dua
A favorite resort in Nusa Dua is The Grand Hyatt. This hotel is centrally located, has all modern comforts and luxuries you could desire, and has some of the best packages and connections to local attractions. The team at the Grand Hyatt goes out of their way to think of everything you could need or want, while impressively catering to the needs of families.
The kids club at the Grand Hyatt is one of the best in the area, but they also offer excursions and activities for the entire family. From water rafting and yoga, to a wide variety of five star restaurants with live performances, there are so many options that you may have a hard time fitting everything into your time at the Grand Hyatt.
For your stay, you will have your choice of a suite or villa with a private pool, all of which is organized into four villages throughout the hotel. You will also have access to several pools, private beach access, the fitness center, and the five star spa, as well as babysitting services.
Make sure you check out the Grand Hyatt’s offers before you book your stay! They have new packages and deals every few months for your convenience.
The Laguna Resort and Spa
One of the most centrally located resorts in Nusa Dua, The Laguna Resort and Spa is a wonderful choice for your upcoming holiday with your family. Not only does this resort offer babysitting services, it also has an individual children’s buffet and pool. That is in addition to the network of seven lagoon swimming pools throughout the resort.
Make sure you enjoy the full service spa and wellness center, fully equipped with tennis courts, a fitness center, a golf course and billiard tables. You will also have access to a breakfast buffet and five star restaurants during your stay. Many of the rooms also have direct access to a private pool, so make sure you look closely while booking!
Club Med
One of the best all-inclusive resorts in Nusa Dua is Club Med. Located directly on a long stretch of beautiful beach, Club Med has incredible facilities, including a full gym and spa, but also offers an impressive list of activities for the whole family. From access to a kids club to snorkeling, sailing, and flying trapeze, this resort has it all.
The resort itself is in the best location for exploring Nusa Dua, has four pools throughout the property, and over 300 suites to choose from. Your all-inclusive stay includes an open bar, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner at one of the two restaurants and three bars at Club Med. Also included is a wide variety of excursions for the whole family and even more activities from archery to massages.
Club Med may just be the best choice for you and your family if you’re looking for the ease of an all-inclusive resort. Even better is your access to endless activities, where you will have the opportunity to create some wonderful family memories for you and your kids.
Bali Tropic Hotel and Spa
Bali Tropic Hotel and Spa offers a range of packages, including all-inclusive, and is perfect for families looking for a resort with a truly Balinese feel. Bali Tropic Hotel and Spa is located on the northern end of Nusa Dua’s beachfront, and has a wide variety of add ons and packages for your all-inclusive hotel experience. Bali Tropic is also likely to have the lowest rates of all the hotels on this list, depending on availability for your dates.
During your stay, you and your family will have access to babysitting services and the Krishna Kids Club, as well as many activities for the entire family. From watersports and beach sports to diving lessons and snorkeling, the Bali Tropic Hotel has it all. Once you’ve had your day of activities and explorations, it’s time to relax and enjoy the Balinese performances and shows that are put on every night.
With your all-inclusive deal, you will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as 24 hour drink services at the open bars throughout the resort. Also, all non-motorized water sports, such as windsurfing, catamarans, and traditional boat rides are automatically included in your booking. Though the Bali Tropic Hotel and Spa makes including add ons so easy once you’ve booked your stay!
Samabe Bali Suites and Villas
My last selection for all-inclusive resorts is the Samabe Bali Suites and Villas. The team at Samabe has truly thought of everything, including services such as a private butler and beach side cave dining in your booking. This all-inclusive resort is a wonderful choice for you and your family, especially if you’re looking to spend some time alone, just the adults, to experience your own romantic holiday. Also included in your stay is access to the Lumba-Lumba Kids Club, where your kids will also have a vacation of their dreams.
If you are hoping to learn more about Balinese culture throughout your holiday, then this is the perfect resort for you. Here you will be able to choose from a wide variety of activities, from Balinese dance and cooking lessons, to wood carving and costume lessons. Trust me, both you and your kids will love it!
Of course, the Samabe Bali Suites and Villas also has all of your classic activities to offer in this all-inclusive stay. From cave diving to infinity pools and an ocean view driving range to catamaran picnics, you will have access to endless activities and events. Make sure you check out their private yoga classes and movies under the stars!
So, whether you choose a luxury resort or an all-inclusive hotel for your family’s upcoming trip to Nusa Dua, you will have one of the most relaxing and adventurous holidays of your life.
