You guys… I don’t even know what to say. Other than I’M SORRY.
I know you know what I’m talking about when I say… I’m struggling to keep my head above water. Really, really struggling.
I don’t know what happened but suddenly I found myself in some sort of vortex where even having a second to think was impossible. Between deadlines, the kids, illnesses, events and – yes – a Korean exchange student staying with us, things just got HECTIC.
I’m trying not to feel down about it, to put some pep in my step, to show YOU that yes everything is possible. But not this bloody week it isn’t!!!
But anyway. Some positives. I’m caffeinated. I’m wearing pants. My children haven’t been taken away. So, you know… surviving. I am going to post this, finish up an assignment then practice some #selfcare which will involve a Bailey’s hot chocolate and Bad Moms.
Anyway, I do promise I have some awesome stuff coming your way soon. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur posts and hopefully some more on Penang and Langkawi since the ones I do have up were really popular. Also, some practical travel advice and I’m also working on a post about babymoons (living vicariously through other people since babies are the best but I clearly would not cope with any more of my own).
And I want to know what YOU would like to see! Comment away my darlings and I’ll get right on it… I’ve taken to writing posts while on the train so you can see why my current batch is a work in progress. OR if you just don’t trust my ability to make it happen right now, I feel you. Leave a comment anyway. Might I suggest your favourite self-care ritual or the one thing you would do if you were drunk in a supermarket with your besties?
